Many members of the Legion know their way around technology. There are the creative Artifex, the pragmatic Infernus Squires and the quick-thinking Cartogriphans, each able to fix or craft something to suit their given situations. But none know the delicate intricacies of the wires, the resonant song of the gears and beautiful silence of the flesh made metal quite like the Novus Doctrina.
These secretive craftsmen possess a genius on another level, their hands weaving and sculpting mechanical devices with a deftness thought unattainable to any living being. They devote themselves entirely to their craft, often replacing mass amounts of their body with machinery to further increase their efficiency.
A Novus Doctrina member tends to see the world in a different light to most, their mind constantly calculating, refining, inventing. They are tasked with the creation and maintenance of near all Legion technology, making them an absolutely vital component of the Legion as a whole. A skilled Novus Doctrina member is revered, breathing life into any machines they may touch, their metal hands weaving mechanical wonders no matter where they may find themselves - be it within the safe confines of a secluded workshop or in the midst of roaring gunfire upon a battlefield.
