"Thus the time of complete emptiness began... A war given to the Crimson hand, they bared banners of the great victor... All in the darkest deeds of the Infernatus, and his son Lord Indomican. With the Galaxy at their knees, peace was a new strain of blood for them, one that their body would be soon to purge. Honour Jannik'Mun, thus began The Vy'Keen Wars Of Red."
During the Crimson Pentagon years, this was the five year time period the Indominus Legion claimed its dominion over the Euclid Galaxy, preparing for its expansion towards the further reaches of the Universe. This time brought a great sorrow to many, while the right trade brought an incredibly prosperous future...
The Korvax were the first Xeno populace favoured and granted a subsidiary pass throughout the Legion's prime quarters. For their aid in advancement in technology, the Legion worked to quite benefit from their aid. The Gek, whilst less favourable, were taken in as the underlings to their engineering departments; finally, the Vy'Keen...
The Vy'Keen were a race that had never quite seen the end of the Galactic Crimson War, pockets of them still being hunted down by the Legion for crimes they would not give reasons to. Alas, the few 'lucky' it could be announced, were offered refuge among their own regiment within the Legion for their military admiration.
Despite few of the Legion's converted Vy'Keen confidence within their new position, the remainder looked upon with fear, and this would be a wise thought to hold onto. The end of the Crimson Pentagon would be marked with a expulsion so frighteningly loud, it was said that even the Legion were shaped into children playing with fire.
Upon the System marked damned, every regiment of the Vy'Keen were summoned to it, led by Legionary Ministariums, they commanded their Vy'Keen forces down to the worlds belonging to the System... With it, every Vy'Keen prisoner would be viewed leaving the accompanying vessels...
From that, a Galactic wide broadcast would be sent to every possible intercom available. Whom would appear less than the Lord Emperor himself. Indominus Infernal addressed the Galaxy, presenting what was to be the largest mass execution known around this time. Thus would end the Crimson Pentagon.
As the Vy'Keen regiments were ordered to execute their opposing blood; a shot, fired from its unknown source, would announce the death and start of this massacre. Leaving the Vy'Keen council to watch this display, the Vy'Keen Legionaries would let their disbelief give them the permission to fire down upon their shackled brothers.
With Vy'Keen murdering Vy'Keen, there was no honour in this, some cheered, others cried. A horrible chill of pure evil split the minds of those who dared bare witness to this event, many called it the Feast Of Psyclodium... The first born of Lord Infernatus. With billions of souls lashing out in pleads of mercy, the damned worlds were a recipe for madness.
Signalling the end of the event, Lord Emperor Indominus Infernal would command his capital warship, the Incenidium itself and its infinite fleets to shadow the worlds filled with every last Vy'Keen they had control over; ordering nothing less than the complete and utter orbital bombardment of all lifeforms under them. He declared the Vy'Keen's barbaric nature, their dim minds to helplessly serve the higher powers with no aim, and thus this marked their right to die.
The aftermath caused a humongous uproar, from internal as much as external. Many of the remaining races within the ranks of the Legion ran from fear, every race coming to the realisation that genocide would be their destiny under a crimson future.
The continued resistance pockets never ended their fight, lest would they expect the calling of reinforcements... Vy'Keen numbers accounted to the many, but this was not all, Gek and Korvax warships entered battle arenas, armed and ready to combat the pressing Legionary forces.
The battles to come were bloody, none left without losses gaining to a minimum of the thousands, without including civilian casualties. However, the Legion faced a concept once new to the Vy'Keen before it... Defeat.
As the Legion spread in arms of fire and war, their expansion soon found corners of the Galaxy that were proceeding faster than they could muster their fleets. The outer most Star Systems were the first to fall, local defence and rebellion pockets banding together to harass the Legion enough into pulling back to stronger footholds, leaving the Vy'Keen, Korvax and Gek primary forces to press inwards on the valued targets.
Not all battles were won for one side... The Legion did begin to lose more and more, yet they would not make themselves leave without leaving a red mark behind them. The three races combined were still not enough to contend with their capital region. The Crimson Heavens, also known as Stvancul, was their primary residence, home to their capital system and Gate Quarter I, from which they first appeared.
Stvancul was strategically in favour of the Legion, the large spaces of Void between Stvancul and the other regions meant that there were very few routes that the hyperdrives could take to reach its centre. This let the Legion focus its forces to select locations to defend, and this served them well.
As the systems around Stvancul began to fall, never did the stand of The Crimson Heavens, for their brothers stood as mighty as the name suggests, and nothing but bittering defeat was at the bloodied hands of the three races convergence against the Legion.
"Thus none shall test the metal of thine Speculatorus, praised are the Dimenstratus, hushed are the Speculatorus, for a word uttered of their name may summon their being to incinerate the speaker in the name of their grand majesty, demons of Infernatus, they are the trained eye to control them should Infernatus betray us. Long live the Speculatorus, long live the Lord Emperor."
Upon the borders of Stvancul, the Lord Emperor had placed nearly his entire force of Speculatorus, making entry a near impossibility. Their blood lusted tactics ending any concerns of defeat for the Legion, and victory for any that dared oppose. This however, would prove to be the Indominus' prime downfall.
For later the same year that his borders would be bolstered with his best, it would be his capital that faced the challenge of defeat. For that year, The Moon Of Prime would be founded. The Moon Of Prime was the statement of the Atlas' war against the Legion, their abomination of creation. The Moon Of Prime was the statement of the Legion's defiance against the Atlas, but with this, came the cost of their Empire.
After the day of The Moon Of Prime, the Legion had lost their Lord Emperor and their holy worlds; in a last stand of anger and pure hatred, they chose the offensive, with such a barbaric power of momentum the front line faced a festival of gory ends, alas, this momentum was to run dry and thus the days of the Legion would end...
With their defeat at hand, and their Lord Emperor gone, they were left with little choice but to return to the shadows, and allowing the dominion of the prime races to claim back their territories. Under it a contract would be made, confining the remnants of the Legion to their designated quarters of Stvancul, and to never travel beyond its borders.
As the wars and times of the Legion began their forgetting, thus did the contract confining them. Wading through time as a dull colour in the dark, they were left unseen, and unchecked; for now, forgotten, but their future, would not go without a bright flare of crimson flame to ignite the skies...
A small pocketed Legion, they begin to grow a new, their technology a hundred times over advanced, their number bolstering and trained to reformed combat, and their keen sense to wage war, reignited through tactical acceptance of their right to dominion over the Galaxy in preparation for the Great Swallow... Do not forget they say, Lord Indomican graced the Lord Emperor with his presence and an Empire to command in return for his loyalty and assurance that the Atlas would be defeated, and thus, the Great Swallow would ensue.
Now Stvancul begins its journey to dark, The Crimson Heavens return, in awe and beauty, the scourge of red was never at its end, nor did the war die with it. It was never a defeat for the Legion, but a chance to shed its skin... Fresh and prepared, the Galaxy was born in fire... The Legion was merely reminding it....
MAY THE DARKNESS NEVER RELENT UNDER THE GUIDE OF OUR IMMORTALITY
